You might be in the minority on this opinion, I thought the monologue in ep 4 in the graveyard was what elevated Bernthal’s performance of the Punisher above a mere ‘vengeance driven psycho killer’ and laid the groundwork for making him the best live action Punisher ever. All those quiet, insightful, human moments

C’mon, cut it a break, it happened in the LAST episode after all and we all know the life/death/resurrcetion lore of Elektra as its core to her story in the comics and the Bruce Wayne’s parents death is to Batman. Maybe the way she died wasn’t so great, but I was expecting it all the same before the end of the ep.

After all these years I still think it was a stupid choice to change the name from Biohazard to Resident Evil (which still sounds dumb & clunky as a name)

Look the reply above you, they’re all listed

It was part of this v series, if you look at the pic above, you’ll see him drawn TAS style

Casting should have dug deeper because there was a child clone of Richard Dean Anderson

So the conclusion of this season is, there really is no overarcing big bad like there was for season 1

Good call, I bet the more mystical aspects of the Hand and Black Sky are gonna lead into both of those upcoming shows.

Yeah the dynamic between Karen and Punisher was one of the high points of the season. Even tho Berenthal’s performance of Frank Castle still had shades of Shane, he absolutely killed it and had the standout acting performance of the show. I bet he loved the role too, its the kind of gritty drama role that many actors

May everyone who made fun at his expense with the video suffer a similarly massive stroke

I’m making half a joke, but you get my point

Yep, and its all very identifiable, very realistic shitty behavior that we do to each other all the time. While Matt does a lot of good, I think he uses that to take the focus away from his intense personal flaws and weaknesses. Foggy OTOH has a moral strength and sense of integrity that Matt cannot approach.

Maybe half his conflict with the Hand and half self-justification for his own selfishness

Wow, you actually said more than one word this time

Yeah, scared. That’s what i thought.

Ha that’s what I thought, but no, the Punisher story is far from over by ep 4, its just the end of the first act of his story in season 2

It was almost worse when Foggy knew Matt’s secret because he was doing double duty of getting screwed by Matt who leaves him out to dry handling all the legal biz AND covering for Matt making up bullshit excuses to Karen when he doesn’t pull his weight.

Matt Murdock was such a selfish self-absorbed prick this season, most of all to Foggy

Why, are you afraid we’ll call your work ‘nothing special’ as well?
