I’m of the generation (born in the mid 70s) where I *just* missed the film heydey of Harry Dean Stanton as an adult who appreciates film, so I never really great up with his films, so even tho he’s probably appeared in plenty of films I’ve seen, I never paid attention to him nor appreciated his importance.

Is that an issue inherent with the FoST or they type of stock brake pads they use?

I can’t stand the ‘car reviews’ where some nobody brings his camera into a dealership showroom or lot, just walks around the car showing off the outside, maybe the inside, doesn’t even do a proper road test drive, and that’s it.

Like I said, his comedic roles really shine through and showcase his acting talents at their best.

When you say ‘Singer’ you mean ‘Marsden’? Because if so, what you wrote makes a lot more sense.

By modern standards, most people from centuries previous... kind of suck, have backwards ideas & attitudes and often great historical figures were lousy human beings

I won’t argue he turned in a respectable performance as Lois’ husband, but I found his role so tacked-on and mostly inconsequential to the overall story, and his character doesn’t really evolve or change (I know, he’s not a main character, just supporting cast). I just found his character really pointless and not

What an easy game to play

You have to push through until they actually introduce David Tennant which is not until ep 4 or 5, then the show really takes off. Suck it up.

How so? I didn’t see how that role boosted his career in a meaningful way.

Eh, it was his choice to follow Bryan Singer for his ‘big opportunity’ in Superman Lives. He made a mistake, I don’t feel too sorry for him. Besides I never liked his Cyclops from the first 2 X-Men films. He’s way better suited for comedy anyway

I was being totally sarcastic, yeah he makes it kind of clear what he prefers. I can tell I would dislike him in person.

You should go back and check out JJ again, you’re missing out.

D’Onofrio’s take on Wilson Fisk is really polarizing, I’m in the camp where I loved his offbeat, non-traditional portrayal of the Kingpin. Thought it was nuanced and brilliant departure from his standard depiction.

Yeah this is a really weird turn...

I can see it being insanely expensive, the Dinosaur VFX were surprisingly not bad for a TV budget show.

So... is he a dog person or a cat person, I can’t tell...

Of course they axed Terra Nova once it started to become interesting, much like Almost Human

As alluded to in another comment, we live in a messed up timeline where nothing FOX does makes any sense.

I wonder how I can emigrate to the timeline where Jodorowski’s Dune was actually made into a movie.
