those coupe rear rooflines aren’t as headroom friendly for taller adults that sit in the rear, that’s why. hence the strong market for traditional sedan rooflines

Because a lot of the UScommenters are idiots and don’t realize this model trim has been available outside of the US for years and is nothing new

A lot of audi fans have been waiting for the sportback versions of the A5 and S5 to be released stateside since they’ve been sold in Europe for years. Please don’t speak for all of us, thanks.

Well Glenn’s comic book death is such a well known, high profile thing, not surprised the TV show runners constantly use it to mess with the TV audience.

Unfortunately, yours and likeminded people’s money does not seem to be enough to motivate them...

Yeah walk over to that dealership and look at it in person

but a 2 series has so little rear legroom, it would make those extra 2 doors kind of pointless.

BMW could easily do an M4 GC, I guess they just choose not too.

Yeah...but, Murica

Nope, but I had to post in multiple places because a reply specifically to you, isn’t seen by others who don’t read your specific post.

As disgusting as the thought is, I wouldn’t be surprised if they offed pregnant Maggie and spared Glenn, but inititally wind it up as if it looked like Glenn was going to die the same way he did in the comics then pull a last minute switcheroo.

According to this Audi of America product release leak, the S5 sportback will be sold here as well

S5 sportback release being confirmed from Audi of America product release leak

According to product leak from Audi of America, it’s slated for release mid 2017 as well

So when 4 adult friends choose to carpool together when going out to dinner, movie theater, concert, road trip, etc in one car rather than driving all separately thus not clogging up the roads and parking lots with fewer cars, making more room for you. You choose to punish them. I think I understand you better now.

That’s what buyers of the GC want, a lower, more coupe like center of gravity, for that kind of driving and handling, but with the utility of a more usablable back seat and 2 extra doors

If you see them same angle, in person, the difference is much more apparent, the Gran Coupe has the coupe front and rear end styling

Unfortunately you’re pretty far outnumbered by the Audi buyers who don’t care and will get an AT.

I had a Hyundai Veloster, I would have honestly preferred it an even 4 doors all around.

Someone I know insists that someone from Audi said for the B9 chassis, that an RS5 sportback is in the works. But I’ll believe it when I see it
