I've always been a Koenigsegg fan so I throw my hat in for the Regera

Q50 = G37 sedan

A clever twist that I heard on a ST podcast ,in this situation, would be: the Bajorans are gaining admittance to the Federation, and end up turning into oppressors of the now devastated Cardassians, whom the Federation is now offering relief aid to. The Bajorans being vehemently opposed to any help given to their

It’s from the best worst ep if Voyager, titled Threshold. I don’t remember which season. Wiki it

I am one of those dickish people you speak of

Why would they pay money to ship a car back to Japan?

Yeah he was the race car driver whom they named this car after. Louis Chiron.

I don’t think the car is as stupid as the things internet car netizens (like Jalops) who insist if they were one of those rich guys who could own such a car, would drive and enjoy one regularly... no you won't.

I agree

Don't you mean R rated & hilarious?

They tried to avoid that trope in Stargate SG-1 in the first season by having offworlders speak different languages but eventually the writers got sick if dealing with it and defaulted everyone to English as well

Probably

Their explanation in the movie was they were trying to pass as Klingons but if the Klingon border guards heard stuff translated thru the universal translator filter, it would be a dead giveaway as it wouldn’t sound like naturally spoken Klingon

Yeah, Meyer was never much of a sci-fi or Star Trek fan but he is by admission, a hardcore Sherlock geek

I traveled to Japan twice in the past year and each time, I loved seeing all the JDM minivans used everyday. Saw quite a few of these, they look absolutely over the top and glorious

Aside from the looks, my other biggest gripe about the JJ reboot NCC-1701 is how they really screwed up with the scale/size of this new ship, the exterior design is supposed to be similar in size to the original refit Enterprise but the interior sets using the Budweiser Brewery for engineering makes this size

So you want a guy to popularize complex astrophysics concepts to the general, non-science, non-nerd populace in a dry, academic, textbook-perfect style? He’s not making these documentaries for his Columbia physics grad students you know... It’s show business.

There are so many artists who sell prints of licensed comic book characters at various comic cons, the assumption is that its legal, otherwise why sell them at industry conventions, populated by employees of said comic book companies?

which bad 70s sci-fi dystopian movie is this?

A lot of ppl love the original TOS version because thats the Enterprise that they grew up with so its a love borne out of Nostalgia, but I grew up watching TOS reruns as a kid in the 70s and found it outdated looking even then. The TMP refit enterprise, despite being almost 40 years old in design, still looks timeless
