I would definitely not buy a GT-R with my own money, and for a sports car in that price range, the interior is just awful, I’d still buy a used 911 in a similar price range despite its relative lack of torque over the GTR.

I have, I got to drive my friend’s 2010 GT-R which was Cobb tuned to approx 600 hp. Drove about 20-30 miles total in every road condition possible except a track, highways, tight twisty mountain canyon roads, long sweepers, the pacific coast highway, etc.

Definitely not all manufacturer DCTs are created equal. It’s pretty well documented that Ford’s Powershift DCT application is pretty garbage ( I can’t speak for Honda’s units, didn’t even know they made one). Hyundai’s DCT in their nonturbo Veloster worked fine when I owned one but for some reason it wasn’t designed…
