It’s so dumb it’s funny, but I’m not mad at him for that. He’s not too bright. His heart seems to be in the right place, there, which is something I can’t normally say for Joe.

The most ironic part is women I know are never off. They run our worlds, save our parents, kids and every other relationship that counts.
Afrikaan in Dutch just means African. I was instructed in Dutch.
Just adding my voice to the chorus...dumb-asses see the turban and think Muslim...
Sikh men wear turbans, and dumb Americans think turban = Muslim (maybe because of cartoons?). Plus they tend to have similar skin tones as people from the Middle East.
i doubt the shooter even knows what a sikh is.. they just see a brown person...
The stupid ones are more emboldened. Simple as that. Like they said in the article, in the past you had presidents who would come out almost instantly to say, “This is wrong. You shouldn’t do this. Don’t do this.”
These people don’t know the difference between a Sikh, a Hindu, a Muslim, a dark skinned Catholic, an Arab, a North African, an Israeli Jew...you get my drift.
Sikhs are peaceful people as a part of their religion! (Not that it’s ever OK to shoot, for example, a violent Christian who isn’t actively trying to kill you.) WTF is wrong with people! Have Americans gotten so much stupider, or are the stupid ones more emboldened?
This. It’s not a steady drip of wtfery, it’s a firehose on full blast. Constantly. It’s exhausting, and it’s meant to be so.
Correct. But I think most journalists and pundits have been so overwhelmed with the daily (hourly?) deluge of info coming out about this bunch of grifters and traitors that they mix up who’s done what. I just wanted to make clear that what Jared did was - as you correctly point out - a Logan Act violation, while what…
Kushner is in up to his eyeballs. Adam Khan (@Khanoisseur) is one who is digging deep.
I am not a lawyer, but this looks and smells like a Logan Act violation, just like Flynn...
This has happened in the last 2 days: It came out that Sessions had 2 meetings with the Russian Ambassador during the campaign, then lied about it under oath to the Senate (that part’s the felony).
So...light treason then?
