After the "earth-shattering" success (two deserved,one over praised) there will never be just a epic detective story.
Bothers me when people say FF stopped being good after___(usually 6 or 7) and I have to ask, did they ever play 9? It was the pinnacle of story telling, character development, the soundtrack was by far the best thing and most memorable...it was a return to basics and everything that made FF what it was.
