I so hope they are able to make a Shenmue 3. Even if the gameplay ends up sucking (which is not likely), I'd still buy just because I want to know the conclusion to this story. Everytime I go back and play it I realize how many ideas and mechanics first introduced in Shenmue are now so commonplace.

Mike Z has been working on this for a while. I didn't know he got the game picked up by a bigger team though. I can't wait to see more of it because what I've played of it thus far has been solid.
