Looks like the Lightning FATE also comes with job specific weapon rewards as well. Nice. Even better if they're actually useful and not just vanity items like Odin/Behemoth gear.

You seem to continually forget that we're discussing the combat here. Dynasty Warrior's combat has been a face rolling button masher since 2000. Hence the remark. Any critique further extrapolating on the gameplay as a whole is irrelevant.
Look, I love Action RPGs. The Diablo series as well as Snowblind's PS2 games (Baulder's Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath, etc) rank up there as some of my favorites. But CC's combat was half-assed at best. I'm not sure why you bring up cover systems, but I'm not saying that would have made it better. It just…
"I have a different opinion than you so let me tell you why yours is incorrect."
I disagree. Magic/Materia was 95% useless in Crisis Core and the game offered no melee diversity. You spent most of the game circle strafing and whacking the default attack button over and over 'til everything died unless one of the random useless reel abilities got triggered. It was mind numbingly monotonous and…
Good Lord. Why do people take such offense to the term "casual"? Not every use of the word is a pejorative. It's simply a counter to the hardcore. And the term hardcore means just that: Hardcore. If you play every Soul game, enjoy the story, and consider yourself a fan of the series, that doesn't mean you're a…
I'm not saying more isn't nice. I absolutely adored MK9 for the sheer amount of content it managed to include and I would've loved for SCV to feel less rushed than it did. I only mean that gameplay is the main factor for the genre and that, for hardcore players (as in, tourney-orientated players) they can be happy…
Firstly, I just want to thank you for your post. It's so nice for someone to provide a rebuttal with actual merit rather than disregarding any discussion and simply making a remark about opinions being subjective without actually making an effort to justify said opinions.
Any particular reason? The quick dash mechanic brought some much needed speed back to the series, more in line with SC2. 3 and 4 were both slow as molasses. The change to Guard Impacting saddened me a bit, but the Just Guard mechanic helped make up for it. The removal of 4's abysmal Critical Finish mechanic was a…
Err, what? The only people I know who didn't like SCV were the casual fans who enjoyed all the side quest/mission stuff from the other games and were disappointed that V lacked a lot of that extra content. Speaking purely in terms of gameplay and combat mechanics (which, imo, is really the only thing that matters in a…
Is your PC in a room surrounded by Gundam figures and Star Wars posters in the basement, or do you actually feel comfortable with your transforming neon light mouse in an adult setting where other people can see it? Secondly, angry and mean when you use the PC/play games? You should probably see someone about that.
I think people see the big highways/avenues and think those are the only streets in the city. If you look at the pic Rockstar tweeted (which zooms far into the map) you can see that there are dozens of streets between those highways and avenues seen on the map. It's just you can't show that much detail on a map so…
I don't believe any of those were options. The choices were Xin Zhao's spear, Hecarim's polearm, Leona's Sword, or Katarina's daggers. From those choices, the fans chose the Zenith Blade. I'm happy with the choice, as Leona's my main champion, but I'm a bit sad it's all silver. I expected a red-purple/wine colored…
He's funny . . . if you're 10. Though, judging by your username, Mr. xRedxxWolfx, you probably are.
Apparently you missed the part where his girlfriend is the one who posted this online. You make it sound like she's not even human. I think you might be the one with the problem here.
I could deal with it if it was just the animations. While that's annoying, you can somewhat work around it my macro'ing your non-GCD abilities to your normal rotation abilities. So Archer/Bard, for instance, can macro Bloodletter and Misery's End to their Heavy Shot, thus allowing you to use them whenever they're up.…
The game, as a whole, is superb, but I'd really like to see them fix a bunch of smaller issues:
- AFK timer. I know this one is on SE's to-do list and I know the server issues are (mostly) cleared up, but there's still far too many people who sit AFK on the server 24/7.
TBH, I feel like most support mains in League have some sort of complex. "Why is no one thanking me for playing support? I never get any recognition!" Recognition for what? Placing wards and keeping people from dying? That's your job as support. By doing that, you are merely adequate, fulfilling the base criteria of…
From what I can tell, no. The geometry might have changed slightly due to the new engine, but nothing that one would consider noticeable. The new engine certainly makes things look a lot different than 1.0 though. Textures look more plastic-y and the lighting is nowhere near as realistic. I believe this visual…
