A feature can exist in an early build that has to be removed later to actually make a complete product that doesn’t have issues and can be released.

They literally showed off the game before launch. Multiple videos showing exactly what the game was. All the interviews of Murray talking about multiplayer were over a year before the game launched.

Had murray gone on the record like a few weeks before the game launched and said multiplayer is in the game, then yea

I’m convinced this is the very reason that Valve was giving no questions asked refunds for Steam purchases. I played the game 8+ hours and still got a refund for it, as did many others. In the form I put that it was falsely advertised. This video is proof enough to be grounds for a lawsuit if they refused to refund

I am a developer. If I promise that a release will have certain features, and then later push that release while having told no one that my release will be missing some of the promised features, then I did indeed lie. You can’t skip on major promised content and then just hope that no one notices.

Just because they spent the past year making the game into what they sold it as doesn’t justify their misleading people. That’s easy to do when you’ve sold millions of copies of a game that is missing features that were being touted about before release.

I’m sorry he did lie. Repeatedly making claims about what the game does have and then the game not having them is a lie. That’s the dictionary definition of lying, to make an intentionally false statement.

The flood happened in 2013, before every single one of the interviews where he said it was in the game.

That asshole lied to Stephen Colbert’s face, that cannot be forgiven.

He specifically states that you can meet other players but you likely wouldn’t because of how big the universe is, and then a year after release we finally have steps toward multiplayer. You cannot in any way defend that to me.

Except he didn’t “plan” to have them, he said point blank it was.

Now playing

In the run up to No Man’s Sky’s release, players wanted to know whether or not they’d be able to find other players in game. When players found out that no, in fact, they could not, they were not happy.

It’s Critical Role, which is a livestreamed D&D campaign that Mercer runs. All the players are professional voice actors as well.

I asked my mom if it was okay to click this page

“Why, Kate. You’re not wearing a bustle. How lewd.”

Whyyyyy Johnny Ringo. You look like somebody just walked over your grave

Tombstone is one of the movies that, even though I own it, I will always stop and watch it on TV until the credits roll.

The other one is Shawshank.

You can’t possibly be as conflicted as all of us menfolk are now regarding the concept of “lady boner”.

UGH. I had never sampled that voice line before. Absolutely terrible.
