Yeah, that’s outrageous. I don’t know if that’s a typical price or if they’re already being marked up just because of the chance of getting the One Ring card.

Yeach, it’s hard to be a patient gamer on Switch if you want physical carts. As you said, some games if they get carts at all only get very limited runs. So it’s pre-order or buy it day one, which I dont do much anymore, or risk having to pay triple the price or more later.
And while you may worry about the shape of your head being altered from wearing headphones for prolonged periods of time, as someone who suffers from tinnitus I can tell you the real danger is to your hearing. Please folks, watch the volume on these things.
I googled online, Amazon seems to have one pack for $40, but a boxes of packs, dont.recall the number of packs included, was anywhere from $200-$400.
I have no idea what Chainsaw Man is, but a porn parody of the same name makes me think of those horror stories where some stupid couples make news because they’re homemade Drilldo didn’t work out as planned. 😬
I’m surprised they’re going with the Pro moniker to start with. I thought they usually keep that for successor devices or at least a higher tiered version of a device.
Well if I saw that option it would definitely sway me if I was on the fence since the durability issue is the #1 reason I disliked BotW. In fact, it did. I myself rented TotK because of this issue.
I played the trial on PS+, and it was fun, but im going to need a bigger discount.
Even worse when Switch games are digital only because companies don’t want to bother paying for carts.
I don’t know how any of this stuff works, but since the Steam Deck is basically a PC, would this even stop anything, or just make it harder?
Lets see Nintendo patch out every option for speed running game because its not how the game was intended to be played and see opinions on that one. We’d probably see a lot more support against that than the duplication glitches. 🙄
For some people it makes more enjoyable. I’d even argue that the duplication glitch could attract more players and increase sales.
That would be my ideal scenario. I doubt Nintendo would do it, but it’d be great. One of my favorite Zelda, Minish Cap, was actually outsourced to Capcom, and it shows how good a Zelda game can be when given to someone other than the Zelda team.
I think my bigger issue with BotW is just the lack of proper dungeons, the feeling the world was devoid of life, human-like, and the way the story was revealed. The story is far more engaging TotK and the world feels more alive for sure, big improvements.
Im not saying old games are gone for good, but it certainly seems like they won’t return in future games. Unless Nintendo takes a multi-game approach. But this is Zelda, they take too long to make for me to see that as an option.
Yet the bugs (glitches) harmed no one. If anything, I would argue it could incease sales of the game for people who hate durability.
I did the same. I have auto-ipdates disabled, but I dont trust it. My PS5 constantly pushes for updates and won’t let me play some digital games without updating despite having the feature turned off so this bypasses my settings choice.
Ibe noti Ed a bit of slowdown but only in towns, where no action takes place, and with the gumball machines when using 5 large Zonai charges.
1991 was 32 years ago?!? Yes I onow, simple math, but I sure didn’t need to be reminded of that. 😭
Highly disappointing, but expected. I knew the Zelda that I loved was gone for good after BotW released.
