Yeah, the games just reeks of moneyhat interference to me. It seemed as though it could have been a great traditional style single-player game with optional co-op but Square-Enix just had the Live Service model shoehorned in.

It may not have been, but it was deemed a beta, I would never spend money in a beta because it’s almost guaranteed that money will be wasted even if the game released.
I’ve never played more than the first 10 minutes of RE4 so I can’t really comment on the voice acting too much. But just going by that short clip of Ada using a grapple gun to disembark Leon’s boat, there is a big change.
You put Super Mario World in the #1 spot, this is the correct answer. Any issues I had with the rest of the list have been forgotten. 😁
Considering its free, it couldnt hurt to try. I had rented it and was enjoying the single player campaign. I gave up though because if I recall, just about every other level was the generic open space that just screams [Destiny Patrol Zone] to me.
If a game is in beta or early access than I feel it should absolutely not have any sort of in game store or anything available for purchase. Said game is in a testing phase, test your gameplay mechanics and leave your stores for full launch.
But I thought the whole speil about the online requirement for these single player/traditional co-op style games was necessary and not possible without an always online requirement?
Sure, that’s real easy. It’s not like publishers haven’t been trying that and failing miserably since at least the original Modern Warfare. Just like every MMO in existence after the release of WoW tried and failed to create something on par. There are some games you just cannot compete with at this point...ever.
I think I would rather just go out suddenly and unaware, then knowing my days are numbered by some major health condition.
I would say the wall running was equally defining of TitanFall. I dont recall wall running in any FPS games prior, at least multi-player.
I don’t know, but if they do it seems like they don’t give a damn.
Eh, they lost me at “paywall.”
I never really played much of Super Circuit, but they did my boys Toad and Yoshi dirty! They have always been my top 2 choices in Mario Kart games.
I was hoping for another Ghostwire Tokyo game. I loved that game despite its flaws.
Well, check another game off the list to play.
Serious question...what is with people digging up or searching through someone’s post/comment history?
True.
I actually quite liked Angelina Jolie’s Tomb Raider films, particularly the first.
Ha, I don’t even dare to look at Humble Bundles.
Exactly! I am fine with permanent exclusivity, it’s how it worked a few generations back. With the PS4/XB1 era, it became a case of how can we screw over the competition, which ultimately screwed over the consumer even more.
