I hate soulslike games, they’re just not for me. That said, Remnant: From the Ashes was actually lots of fun. In a soulslike kick you in the groin while your already down on the ground kinda way.

While I kinda feel bad for the Indian dev teams, I am beyond happy to read this news. The Sands of Time trilogy are still some of my all time favorite games.

Indeed, and when I heard Microsoft claim a few years back that they were building the world’s first AAAA developer, I cringed. The last thing the industry needs is something bigger than AAA games. 🤦‍♂️

That’s horrible. My heart goes out to her friends and family. 😔

But, but, my rights are being taken away from me! You can’t make me get a vaccination! 🙄

Yeah, that is definitely true. The thing is though, the industry is screwed up. Publishers want every game to sell gangbusters like GTA or Call of Duty. It will never happen, you can only have so many franchise successes like that.

Well when your own publisher talks shit about you publicly and says your games underperformed when it was more of the fact that SE overexpected, that’s one thing. Which they went on the record of saying after the first game in the reboot trilogy. Yet they still pushed for two more games and just greenlit yet another

I’ll buy the remaster if it leads to a new game.

Forgot about Titan Quest and it's DLC.

So your just going to make me hold my breath alone? Why not join in on the fun!

Lets not forget Airship Syndicate, who made Darksiders Genesis and BattleChasers Nightwar, both great games!

I just hope Crystal Dynamics and Eidos get treated better than they were with Square Enix.

I’d argue the public expects and demands it because of the fact that Activision wanted to squeeze as much money out of gamers as they can.

Wait, what about the Legacy of Kain series? Was that owned by Square Enix when they originally purchased Crystal Dynamics? If so, I hope the LoK franchise stays with Crystal Dynamics.

I’d feel that’s a big slap in the face from Square Enix if I was any of those studio employees. Compared to some recent industry aquisitions, this seems like an insulting price for some stellar games and series.

I love loot games, but I’m also burned out on them. Especially with the Borderlands franchise and their supposed bazillions of guns. When I’m constantly seeing near identical guns where one may have two more points in damage output, then something is wrong.

I’m surprised a group of investors in Ukraine have time to bother with something like this with all that's going on over there. I mean yeah, life goes on and all, but still. 🤷‍♂️

All I wanted was Black Flag 2 sans the AC stuff. I'd have loved co-op as well, it was fun in AC Unity and I wish it returned to the franchise. This however, no, just no, not one thing about it is interesting. 😔

The'll be tackled with micro-transactions, boosters, and everything else wrong with games today. I'd be shocked it would be anything less. 🙄

I just watched the footage, and it looks horrible. Ubisoft took everything that was loved about Black Flag, tossed it overboard, and created a bland and terrible looking live service PvP game. No doubt this will be filled to the brim with micro-transactions, and Ubisoft’s new Quartz NFT system bullshit.
