I found the demo to be boring, combat was ok, the story was less so. Now I don’t need every game to be of Naughty Dog caliber storytelling, but there are so many games with great stories now, that playing a game with a bad story is just more annoying than previously.

I love Borderlands, but I actually got a lot of enjoyment out of the patrols and public events in Destiny. It’s only when Bungie turned the franchise into a horrible second job full of tedious fucking chores that it got stale.

They reduced the cooldowns from the demo? Hmm, maybe I'll give it a try in about a month or two when the game is hopefully free from major issues. 

They also made Gears of War Judgement, which is a series known to have plenty of oomph in its combat.

Ive never been much of a fan of Pac-Man, but that looks awesome!

The only reason I have it is for cloud saves, which is still BS. 

Cool for fans I guess, but damn that’s a bit overkill. I’ve tried a handful over the years from demos or trials, and most recently game pass. I dont recall ever playing more than 30 minutes of any one of them before being bored and deleting them.

Yeach, it’s the inevitable truth unfortunately. One can still hope though.

I think of live service games as the modern equivalent to everyone wanting to be the next monumental phenomenon like Call of Duty two console generations ago. So every game started adding in PvP when most clearly didn’t need it.

I read in a Reddit AMA where one of the developers said it was in part to be able to push out updates and tweaks faster because they don’t have to go through patch/update certifications with the console makers.

Yeach, and to be honest, I'd much rather look at her human form than spider form. I do NOT like spiders. 🤣

Im so glad Activision doesn’t make anything I care about anymore. Same goes for EA, outside of Mass Effect anyway, as they’ve killed off everything else of interest to me.

DLC was mentioned a few months ago. I cant guarantee this is what it will be though.

Awelcome news! I loved Maneater, I bought it prior to it being added to PS+. It’s a great game, and genuinely funny at times.

Yeach, and I have hope the next ME will get things right. BioWare really got combat fun with Anthem, hopefully they can combine all that together into a great ME game.
