So true, but with the success of Apex Legends (is it still successful), I don’t think we’ll see a TitanFall 3. I sincerely hope I’m wrong though.

This is good news for PC players, but I would love the option to transfer saves between my PS4 and Switch. Highly doubtful it would happen, but it’d be nice.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know!

As for Bejeweled, that is exactly what happened. EA removed it from the storefront to replace it with the MTX ridden versions. Ugh.

I never really got into the RTS genre. I dabbled in it due to my love of all things LoTR, so I bought both Battle for Middle Earth 1 & 2, despite being horrible at them, I enjoyed them as a solo campaign player. Because of that, I also bought into CoH, and while again I was horrible at it, I really found it to be

Yeah, I feel that way often myself. However, I’m actually ok with a 12 hour game now as it’s easier for me to actually complete it.

Ubisoft resurrects Prince of Persia...

I should clarify, as I have zero knowledge of WoW. My brother was just telling me how it’s the same after you’ve gone through content and then new content. Just grinding out the same things as nauseam.

That’s the way I’m going now, anything else is a recipe for burnout and disgust of a service game.

I’m not a fan of F2P to be honest, I feel like that’s when the MTX really get out of control. I’m the case of Destiny, I get it somewhat when they went F2P, but at this point Bungie has set expectations of how cosmetics were earned back when D1 launched.

Funny thing, subscriptions is the #1 reason I never played MMO’s, that and I like my games to be heavily action based. Seeing how these games as a service model games are going, I’d actually rather pay a subscription if it removed all the BS MTX and other predatory features.

Yep, I’m not a fan of seasons at all, especially when they have limited time content that disappears at the end. I can’t stand the amount of FOMO that developers are pushing in these types of games.

Yeah, I just can’t deal with it anymore. I’m going to have to learn to miss out on stuff while enjoying the game at my own pace, or just give them up completely. I’m really leaning towards the latter at the moment.

Exactly! It’s why I said enough back in September and deleted all my live service games. You really do have to play an unhealthy amount to stay relevant with other players.

Yeah, deleted all my live service games back in September, but just came back last week, against my claims of not doing so. Ha

I’ve come to realize that the games as a service model isn’t for me. It all started with Destiny, then Destiny 2. I’ve bought into both Destiny games, along with both Division games, and really got burned with Anthem. While I initially had fun with them all, Destiny in particular due to the great people I met in my

The animated trailer was sooo good! haha

Luke, I just wanted you to know I always look forward to your Fine Art posts. They’re my favorite part of browsing Kotaku. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve been struggling with this decision since I read this article last night. I was going to settle on Ocarina of Time, because it holds a special place in my heart as the game that truly turned me into a gamer. Prior to OoT, I only dabbled with games here and there, starting with the SNES era, as I never cared for
