At this point, I’d rather reviewers just buy the game on day one and review the game just as it will be for everyone else. I can wait until after launch to read critical opinions on a game.

Yeah, just make a game fans want, and sell expansions if you want more money. The days of getting everything at launch are long gone, but I’ll gladly spend money on expansions instead of cosmetics and loot.
We can only hope, but I’m not having a lot of faith it’ll turn out good. Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia are the two Ubisoft games I want to return the most, but not if they go the games as a service route.
Now we have a good idea as to the reason Splinter Cell has been on hiatus. Ubisoft is likely trying to figure out how to turn it into an RPG as well.
So Ghost Recon has gone RPG? I was hoping for something along the lines of GR: Future Soldier, but with more expansive environments.
Bummer about the way they’ve implemented challenge, now it’s a pass for me. I don’t mind a good challenge, but I also don’t need every game to go to the extreme in terms of difficulty. It’s a trend I’m not a fan of. Sometimes I think the whole point of the Uber difficult game resurgence is just for gamers to earn bragg…
Ah, I forgot that was IGN’s doing. Ha
That’s part of the problem, I want EA to suffer, not the developers. It’s a tough decision.
I want to continue my boycott of all things EA, but this looks great, and I want it to succeed so EA continues to make games like this. I’m conflicted.
Indeed it would, and having a co-op 3D Mario on Switch would be great.
Bummer, hopefully it does get cross play between other consoles in the future. Now I’m just waiting to see hands on impressions or reviews of how it performs on Switch before I decide to get it on the system or not.
I can’t recall what the game was about, is it the David Cage game similar to Beyond Two Souls and such?
Haha, I’ll be mentioning the announcement to a few coworkers tomorrow, one of whom just bought a Switch (new model) yesterday. I’ll see if anyone knows what I’m talking about as well.
I skipped it due to the motion controls as well, heck I skipped the Wii because of the motion controls. I watched my brother fight the main antagonist and become extremely irritated with the fight due to the motion controls requirement but also because they didn’t work well.
I can’t believe I forgot about SM3DW, I really want that on Switch as well.
Indeed, it has to be some kind of sadistic design choice. Ha
How could I forget about SMW 3D?? I want it on Switch really bad. I’d also like an HD remaster of Donkey Kong Country from the Wii.
Can I join the club? Ha
I’m sure they will. Now that I really think about it, they’ll likely save them for the Zelda dry spell between Link’s Awakening and BotW2. I’m just an impatient guy. Ha
