So beautiful, yet also terrifying.
So beautiful, yet also terrifying.
My thoughts as well. I’m also really tired of the mentality that tankier enemies and lowered player health is a good way to increase difficulty in games, because it’s not.
Do you by chance have the name of this TEDtalk or a link to it?
I can definitely see how this could cause problems for some developers. This story reminds me of some of the behind the scenes videos that Visceral Studios put out before the launch of Dead Space.
Now I can’t unsee that. 😑
“Since the launch of this download service, gameplay time per user has grown significantly to the point where gameplay time on downloaded PS4 titles is double that of streamed titles, a trend which has contributed to higher user engagement with, and retention on, the PS Now service,” Sony said.
It may have been Ace of Spades, it’s been so long I can’t be sure. I just know it was a hand cannon for the hunter.
My response was a play on his username.
I do play each class, and if Destiny was straight PVE I’d be all for it. This would be problematic in PVP.
True, on both counts.
I like your explanation, unfortunately I can’t in good conscience believe anything you say. I’m going to need to see your sources Mr. Miucin. 😑
Well it’s a good thing I choose usernames that I’ll have no problem with 5, 10, 20 years later.
Side note, I’m also against class specific weapons as in D1. I loved the First Curse HC, but I was a Titan main.
That would be a worse scenario. Even as a PS4 Destiny player, I say just get rid of exclusives entirely.
Eh, I play on PS4 and the Xbox/PC users will still get to use their Wavesplitter before I ever get one to drop. 😑
I’m fine with cosmetic mictro-transactions in games. Would I prefer them no to be in there, sure, but I’ve come to realize that games have changed.
“A project that they hoped would be the Bob Dylan of video games, meaning something that would be referenced by video game fans for years to come.”
I haven’t even read this yet, but this is the article I’ve been waiting for.
I know they patched it a few times, but it was never perfect. Pre patches though it would look like a Ray Harryhausen stop motion picture, it was nigh unplayable.
I bought Hob and tried playing it on a launch PS4. The area with the electrical floors and walking platform brought the game to a crawl, literal stop motion. A few patches later it was highly improved, but it never ran totally smooth.
