That news about TRON is a shame. I know the general concensus on the second one was pretty negative, but I loved it. The story was... interesting (at best), but the visuals, the world design, and, yes, the soundtrack were simply phenominal, and I would have loved to see more.

The big + for dvd based installs is when the computer has it’s usb ports locked out or filled with superglue. (Yes, that is a thing - when you don’t want to have people walk off with sensitive data, just fill all the usb ports with glue/epoxy and leave a DVDROM drive in for installs) Also nice for embedded systems…
