Making room for a R33 GTR and possibly other goodies. Basically took 4 years to make this car reliable and as any old car things still break every so often so if you do want to bid on it know what you are getting into.
For over 15 years i’ve wanted a R33 GTR. Specifically a Vspec in the color posted or Midnight Purple. I have a no compromise budget to accomplish this and i’ve started the process. I don’t plan to do much modding to it, anything I do would keep it streetable. While a Skyline is fun to drive if I want a car that makes…
The Nismo 350z unlike the Nismo 370z actually had alot of work done to it. Autech seam welded the chassis and it had significant reenforcement over stock. Engine however was basically regular HR era 350z hardware. In Japan there was even a 350hp “380RS” version that retailed for $40k. They should have sold that here…
Decided against restomodding it, which was my intent on buying this car, so I just fixed some of it’s issues and decided to sell like what I was saying in my last post about this car.
I basically wanted to buy this car to experience owning a classic car from that period. I wanted to work on it and see how parts are and all that vs the JDM stuff I owned. So far I like what i’ve been doing but I’m not sure where I should go next.
If you think you can buy something from BAT sight unseen even with extensive pics be prepared to find glaring obvious shit they should have mentioned or could have fixed in 5 minutes. So far there has been nothing serious to really anger me though.
This might be massively off topic or it might not be but i’ve seen people post not so much car related articles here. But if someone spends untold money on sim racing and plays that all weekend do they have a disorder? NO. This is ridiculous, and it’s crazy how much the media and government try to bully nerds and…
This game is just so bad compared to the previous ones. I like racing older regular person cars and modding them, not extremely, and doing like what are A, B, and C category races on these games. It’s just a completely unfun game if you want to do that.
Everytime I have this car and it functions properly I enjoy it. However it “functioning properly” is always short term. Even if it’s a MINOR issue it turns into one massive headache.
In my previous post I said Pacific Coast Auto doesn’t do dealer buys. It turns out this isn’t true which annoys me because I could have used them to buy this car. Probably would have just got it two weeks later. The only caveat is that they charge extra fees for doing that they normally wouldn’t.
What’s an engine that has terrible mid range, laggy, while also having no top end power? RB20.
I’ve made multiple posts on this car, a couple when I was getting angry and dramatic. Now the car is working completely properly once again with turbo upgrade.
Makes me think of this Eric Andre google robot skit.
Used to have a WRX, I missed AWD I love how this thing drives. It’s a 2017 so it has the updated Haldex programming.
So I made a post previously asking you all for opinions on the TTS. A friend of mine actually bought one, let me drive it, and I thought it was great. The downside is I decided I want a car with a more “daily driver” sized interior and storage. Much to my surprise I priced out a basic S3 on USAA and it’s pretty much…
So i’ve been thinking of going back to a smaller, and AWD, car from my current Mustang GT. I’ve kinda liked the recent AWD german cars like that recent CLA45 but it’s too expensive for me, also the recent Audi RS3. So I looked at prices of the TT RS and it is very affordable for me if I get a 2012.
So i’ve had imported a R32 Skyline in 2014 and wrote a few articles here on it. After 3 years of ownership I have a final verdict, don’t do it.
Continuing from my previous post, my dad told me he got good angle on that new Miata, so I asked him to send it.
Here’s tiny photodump.
