I could not agree more.

Once the hardware is in the car, it's all really just software that needs to be implemented.

Usually not know the conversion ratio? That's something that takes less than 30 seconds to Google. I've heard of some shenanigans at US DMV locations, but that is just trivial.

I would be beyond frustrated.

Even though, at this point it doesn't really matter.

Note: I am Canadian

I want a Lotus Toilet.

It looks like someone shot a cannon at it!

1890's

Here's why:

Benz Patent MotorWagen had 2/3rd hp in 1885 and 2 hp by the end of its production in 1893 according to Wikipedia. ~333% increase in power.

And all about that bass.

In the last week, I've been asked frequently by clients at work if I think Apple is going to make a car.

For some reason, I am slightly offended every single time. I seriously believe they will never make a car. Maybe push technology to be used in vehicles. But not a whole car.

If for some reason they actually do,

This is not a mustache that you can simply grow.

It can only be earned.

Not your car (probably)

I'm not a hipster but this is a glorious mustache.

Making an electric Focus is just like making the Mustang FWD when it's been designed as a RWD chassis. It just won't work but there are good handling FWD vehicles because the chassis has been designed as one. Same for FWD vehicles being converted to RWD. They most likely would handle horrendously if converted.

I hear you completely! We're definitely on the same page. I agree wholeheartedly!

You're partially right, but not in the way you think.

Those are gasoline cars converted to be electric vehicles. They are not designed as an electric vehicle from the start. As a result, their battery packs are smaller and get much less range and do not make it viable for normal people. The batteries usually end up

That's a good question.

I would say yes and no. It is definitely not the most attractive looking vehicle but it did look very 90's so it was fitting for the period of GM's lineup. It looked that way to try and get the coefficient of drag down the only way they knew how to maximize the range out of the Lead-Acid

That large automakers have been sandbagging electric cars for decades and continue to do so as if they do not want them to work at all (Understandably so).

Why do they make them look so horrendous? Minus the Tesla Model S of course.

Just make them look like a normal car.

You can watch the full story from 60 Minutes here.

What looks like higher ride height leads me to believe this is a Model X.

Either way, still cool to see a glimpse of whatever Tesla has up their sleeve.

You make a very good point. However, I only disagree with the host bit. I think they should keep them as long as they are willing. But that's my two cents.

I'd like to also add that I think we're used to it the hilarity and nonsense of the show. Even if some segments are now scripted. I believe we're accustomed to

They definitely weren't the greatest cars in the world. But they had a charm to them.

My dad's looked exactly like this one. Tad bit better condition throughout its life but this is it!
I guess you could say they didn't Excel physically but they Excelled at warming our hearts.

**insert Aww sound bite here**

My dad had a 2nd generation Excel. God I loved that car to death. I'm with you on that part most of them sucked.

But the childhood car always has a special place in one's heart. And ours NEVER broke down! Hard to believe I know!
