Good article.

I've heard about this when it came out, and I've been meaning to pick it up.

Absolute bullshit. I disagree with mostly everything this psychologist says. For one thing, who can say there is in fact nothing after life? Who has ever traveled past death and came back to tell us what was there?

If I were interested in these games, I would have pirated them anyways. You're not getting my money, Ubisoft!

Lovely. Ghost Trick was an amazing game. I got hooked, and ended up playing non-stop for two days trying to finish it. One of the best times I've ever had on my DS.

I did look at (and try) all of the aforementioned with a positive, open mind. So I see that disliking something because it's inferior to something better is not a good reason, so I'll give an evaluation of Desura without a comparison. I don't like Desura because it lacks crucial features that I feel it needs (like

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I was just beginning to see the connection myself. I'll do well to stay FAR away from Daily Mail, just as I do with Fox news.

I've never heard of Origin, or it being a Steam ripoff until now. When I think of a corporation like EA heading something like Steam, I get the image of a platform that sucks money out of its users and at the same time binding everything down to the ground with inescapable DRM.

This is the reason why I've only been playing Indie games for the past few months. These people have a heart and actually care about people. Unlike big corporations who make games mainly for money, and care only about that, these people make games out of love for the medium and for the people. It's gestures like these

OR, I can pirate all my games, or better yet not buy the console in the first place. Saves me the trouble.

You missed three of my most favorite PSP games:

I kind of like this list. Kinda. Mostly because Minecraft is on it. However, it's missing the following:

Video games are a horrible place to seek God. For certain, countless worlds and stories from them are very thought-provoking, and may even change lives, but you're looking in the wrong place if you're looking for God. The best and only place to know God is his Word, which is the Bible. (Most, if not all) video game

Good article. I roll my eyes every time I see another Minecraft clone. I know that none of them can ever be better than the original. But that's the thing - what if a clone became better than the original?

What? That's cheating! I thought it would actually play Skyrim on the hardware!

This nineteen-year-old boy knows deep down in his heart, that time for games is running out for him as well. That's why he's playing his heart, mind, and soul out on all the games he cares about, or could ever think of caring about.

Ah, damned corporate fiends are snatching up all they can in their draconian holds. It makes me fear there is no hope for "commercial" (non-indie) games. Of course, I'm not saying they're going to perish as a whole but they are being seized by the neck and strangled.

Yeah, I worded that wrong. I meant, "...treatment from Foxconn with Apple products."

I was cleaning out my computer recently and as I was wiping, I saw one of the parts had "Foxconn" printed on it. I have to be honest, I thought about these poor workers, and I felt ashamed and sympathetic. I've heard enough about their treatment from Apple to know what they were going through.

INDIE GAMES!
