My best friend in high school used his dad’s bridgeport to cross drill the brake rotors on his Saturn SC2. They cracked really badly and one blew apart in the mall parking lot as he was “testing” his improved stopping power. Brakes exploding is a very unique and terrifying experience.

I worked for Sears in 2007 and the entire sales strategy they had was get people to sign up for store credit cards. They had 4 different cards you could sign up for and they all had horrendous interest rates and terms. I’m so surprised they lasted past 2009.
