I have a conservative aunt who said to me sometime last year “If that’s assault then I’ve been assaulted thousands of times” and shrugged it off. Then over the weekend she emailed me that the #MeToo movement is just an “assault on white men". There's no argument that will change conservative women's minds.

Conservative women frustrate me so much. They get so close on so many issues then take a radical wrong turn at the last minute.

I read the WP profile on Ford that came out last week and it said her dad was a conservative and they went to a country club frequented by conservatives. It was during the Reagan era.
