Wait, $100 leggings? I think that is the real crime here.
Okay, I used to work in guidelines. Let me give a little context.
Honestly, at this point, I would love to see a compiled list of which retail joints aren’t owned and operated by sub-human effluent. So far I’ve heard Costco is sort of ok, and that’s about it. Conveniently, the nearest Costco is about 150 miles away. Target’s bad, Wal-Mart is obviously a shithole. We’ve heard all…
Everyone knows that Google has a liberal bias.
Whether it’s $5 or $.05 or $50,000, theft is theft. The amount of loot doesn’t change the crime.
the cop isnt wearing gloves.
So unfortunately conservative women are going to have to mainly pull themselves up by their own bootstraps here.
I would not describe chanting USA when it comes to a non-offensive bill about election security as nationalism so you’re going down the wrong tree here.
I would need to violate the Planck length in order to create a violin small enough to play for these biological RealDolls.
Honeatly, sometimes it is just indistinguishable from Fox News. The story here, it seems to me, is that following an election which we know Russia tried to influence for the benefit of the Republican presidential candidate, and ahead of an election they will almost try to influence, by messing with vote totals,…
“I freaked out a lot of Seattle residents wondering why there was a woman with a camera, binoculars, and some dead animals loitering in front of their house for long periods of time.” The police were called multiple times.
Having been shamed for nursing in public I’m all for this. If nothing else having it everywhere, even unrealistically glamorized, makes jerks uncomfortable. Which makes me happy.
And how would you feel if they said to her, sorry, you’re breastfeeding so you’re fired? In nicer words, of course.
My first reaction to this was, what a lovely moment for mothers everywhere. I don’t think she was trying to glamorize her child as an accessory - do you really believe that was what this moment was about for her? Yes it made headlines, the kind headlines I like to see more of. I’m sort of astounded at Jezebel’s…
Have you ever breastfed a baby? If not, shut up. You don’t get an opinion on it. We can use all of the “normalization”. The good, the bad, the uncomfortable. It is shameful that in this country a mother has to think and overthink how she can feed her child without offending other people. A mother has to endure being…
Ok so Australian senator breastfeeds while doing her job and everyone is supportive and overall YES! But model breastfeeds while also doing her job and it’s bad, PR stunt/meaningless activism? Both women are attempting to live and feed their kid. Why is one ok and the other not ok? And I understand your comment, “not…
Meh. I’m still for it. I think it’s overall still helping to normalize bf, even though glamourized breastfeeding is still hilarious to me.
We have those in the PNW, they are Playland at Fred Meyer. It’s not as fancy as Smaland but my kids DO NOT CARE that they play with the same 20 toys in the 20x30 room every time. They love going to Playland and for us it is worth the little bit more FG Meyer costs to have an hour for shopping without them.
The Giant Eagle grocery chain in the Pittsburgh area has these in some locations - you are not permitted to leave the store, of course, but when my daughter was small I would sometimes go there, even if I didn’t have to shop, to sit in the store cafe for an hour and have a coffee just to have a short break.
