It’s been my experience that CHURCH PEOPLE are the fucking worst patrons.

Especially the pre-Boomers. On a business trip, I went out with a supervisor, who picked up the check, as per company policy. Our waitress had been fantastic: friendly, quick, and even gave us a coupon good for the night to get one of our entres for free, with the other food and drinks.

I was thinking the same. Some police departments are hiring some very dumb cops. This is not reassuring.

Cops don’t “do good”, they “make arrests”. They’re not here for furtherance of society, but for the buttressing of the police force. Accuracy, facts, and intelligent decision-making run counter to this mission.

Not to downplay how easy it is for corporate interests to buy politicians, because it is, but they spend a crap ton more money on candidates than the paltry limited campaign donations they like people to focus on. They just do it with advertising through PACs and such.

Trust me its even better knowing they can just hop on google in the squad car using the police computer. I hopped in the passenger seat while the cop looked up the value of all the parts stolen off my car a few years ago because he had no idea what a turbo timer was.
