I love when movies/shows embrace their campiness.

Very good points!
I watched them both, and I didn't hate A to Z. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. But Selfie? I was bored or cringing with secondhand embarrassment throughout. It's a shame, because I like the two actors. (But I disagree with other commenters...I think Gillian's American accent sounded weird.)
That is a good point, and should probably be brought up to the developers...but I am willing to bet this situation is not one of the more common ones!
It doesn't block 911 calls, and it just prevents the teen from doing anything else other than call back a number on the "approved" list (the parents) until the proper password is entered, as far as I can tell. It's not like it's going to electrocute the teen until he/she returns the call. It won't affect them while…
To make it even worse, they didn't really promote it AND kept switching the night it aired. FOX hurt that show so hard. I didn't watch it all until after it was canceled, also. :(
Sorry, no. Someone nearly runs me off the road, I might call them all sorts of unfortunate names, but they generally include generic terms, like asshole or idiot, or if I'm super, super pissed, maybe even fucking idiot. Despite being a lifelong Southerner, I wouldn't start cursing someone and using racial slurs,…
Here, here! It was super frustrating being around for years but still being gray all. the. time.
A second one is due out in October. Yes, I've preordered it. :) http://www.amazon.com/Veronica-Mars-…
I read the book and later listened to the audiobook, and I preferred reading it. I <3 Kristen Bell, but she's not the best with voices. She had one type of male voice...they all sounded the same. She's got a wonderful narrating voice, but she's not the best choice for audiobooks, which made me sad. :(
That's the recommendations from a single organization, but it is not the law. The law differs from state to state. I've seen some recommendations suggest booster seats until age 12.
The show was awesome, except for Marissa Cooper. Gawd I hated that character and was SO HAPPY when she was gone.
I was the same type of child, but the policy makes sense. We are the exception, not the rule. Librarians are not babysitters, and most children are more active than that. We've had children running up and down the stacks, up and down the stairs, yelling, playing, etc. We also have a play area in the back, and…
Your library doesn't have a child policy? I work at a library, and anyone under the age of 11 MUST be with an adult or teen. Ages 11 and 12 can be in a separate section in the library alone, but an adult or teen must be on library property at the same time. It's not until ages 13+ that teens can be left alone at our…
I have two cats. One is an overeater, and the other has irritable bowel syndrome and has to eat ridiculously overpriced food. If I had something like this that could monitor which is eating and how much, I'd be so, so happy. Now I feed them twice a day, in separate rooms, and watch the overeater hog her food down as…
Any Nicholas Cage movie, in which Nicholas Cage plays the role of Nic Cage, because he has no range beyond that. Or Keanu Reeves!
When I saw the headline, I assumed we were going to learn how goop fucks up a body. Like "I fucked up my bowel movements and I now must eat through a straw." While this article was entertaining, I am sad I didn't get the article I envisioned!
Boys tend to prefer non-fiction over fiction. Boys like to read descriptions of real events or illustrated accounts of the way things work, like spaceships, bombs, or volcanoes.
I understand and agree that it's important to protect the victim. At the very least, moving him out of the class should have been a no-brainer from the get-go. However, all children are entitled to a free and public education, and simply removing him from this school and placing him in another will fix nothing. If…
I think expulsion for a kindergartner might be a bit much. I think an evaluation and possible placement in a special ed class for behavioral issues would be better, honestly. Expelling the kid won't help him learn better.
