No, she is there to get something specific done: defund the public schools and funnel all of the money to private/charter schools, especially religious ones. That is her only job and the only reason she was given the position.

What sort of monster exposes you to “Boys Over Flowers” and “Heirs” as a first Korean drama?! (Other than an incurable Lee Min Ho fan.)

He lost me at we didnt evolve. Im almost curious to read the batshit extreme love, but I am slacking at work and will not waste that time on such nonsense.

Racism is taught. There’s no way to “breed” it out.

Regrettably, over the past 5000 or so years, I can’t personally think of a single instance where stupidity has been successfully bred out of *any* population.

I stay energized for OW the same way I stayed energized for TF2: Take breaks. There’s no evolving leveling system or metagame to it, so forcing yourself to keep going, even if you’re not feeling it, is simply not needed.

Very cool, I really enjoy historical k-dramas. Thank you for your recommendation. Still, for a iconic figure to represent Korea, I would like better Taejo of Koryo for this role.

Now playing

Queen Seon Deok? The lady has an entire TV series made about her life, which also happens to be the best historical Korean drama I’ve ever seen, ever.

We really don’t.

For Japanese, I think it’s not a question of how easy it is to start, but of how difficult it is to fully master. Despite katakana and hiragana, kanji is an integral part of the language, so you still have to memorize like one would in learning written Chinese, but you also have the extensive system of honorifics in

We’re all distraught over this, but don’t dole out spectacularly stupid advice. At the heart of this story is the omnipresence of cameras - and if you think that by storming in and assaulting a child bully at school is going to yield positive results in this day and age (nothing like when your badass mother did it),

You don’t understand why offices have locks? There’s a lot of expensive stuff in offices. Both personal property (e.g., laptops or purses) and company property (e.g., computers and electronics).

So, when they say clever things like “gas the kikes” what EXACTLY do they mean?

Almost entirely correct, though what you refer to as the “Eye of Chaos” should be the “Eye of Terror”, otherwise, nice cliff notes.
As compact as you can be with a setting that has literally 30 years of storytelling behind it (and dozens of retcons).

You can’t sell or trade anything from loot boxes, so that comparison isn’t the same thing as loot boxes. The same logic applies to TCG’s in case you were thinking of making that argument. The ability to completely bypass the randomized reward kinda changes things. Not to mention that the rewards in loot boxes have no

Yes, those machines were specifically designed to show children what they could win in an attempt to get them to shell out more money in an attempt to get the prize they want.

Take your logic and just get the hell right out of here!

Actually, this is what clearly separates those games apart as gambling. When you open an item from one of these machines, they are yours to own and do with as you please. By physically owning the item, that separates it from gambling.

Yes, this is gambling, just like raffles, crane games, etc. These things might actually even be regulated in your jurisdiction and you just didnt know it. Some crane games even require yearly certification in some jurisdictions!
