So much for Apple's "strict" approval process and supposed security. This could have been (and may be) a giant piece of malware on top of stealing $1 from thousands of people who think "hey, it's in the app store, it has to be legit"

Why is it when Apple comes out with something that is pretty much the same as other stuff out on the market, they suddenly become the source and baseline for this technology..?

Well, the API limitations they implemented to App store apps were only applied to third party. They don't seem to be worried about that.

The limitations will probably only apply to third party developers. All Apple made apps probably won't have these restrictions.

This has been coming since the initial release of iOS.

Or maybe it's just cause no one ever refers to it as Mac OSX anymore?

"Gatekeeper could also be interpreted as Apple heavily discouraging less savvy users from installing non-Mac App Store apps entirely."

I got that.

I honestly can't tell if you're trying to praise or bash the Note.

Now that is magic.

When can I get this..

that's IF it has a "retina display".

Who's issuing these patents?

And what crime would that be.

Yes, but to be arrested, you first have to b charged with an actual crime.

Again, photographing public officials in public is not illegal.

Thanks for proving my point.

The problem is that the entire institution is more willing to protect one of it's own, then actually give justice.

I'm sorry you actually believe that.

All of which happens very very rarely.
