A LOT of the EU is bad bordering on awful. Opinions aside, though, disregarding the EU makes economic and creative sense. You want a screenwriter to write a good movie. You don't want him or her to be hampered by having to sift through an insurmountable amount of information to decide where they can write a line of

I wish this were so. I wish Lucasfilm would just erase the prequels (or even remake them with a completely new backstory). Where's Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones with that little amnesia wand when you need them? The SW world would be a much better place if we could all collectively forget that these films ever

Man, I couldn't disagree more. He was stale as Tranduil and he was even staler as Ronan (granted, he was working with terrible dialogue). He LOOKED awesome. I'll agree with that. I think the character design was one of the best I've seen on film in a while, but his overall villain-ness was kinda flat for me.

Set in the war-ravaged African countryside, a U.S. soldier and a French foreign aid worker team up to survive the alien onslaught.

I've tried several of these strategy games over the years, but I think that I am either far too impatient to play them or just completely clueless when it comes to strategy. How does one get better at these kinds of games?
