This, along with the Sportbikes at Rest macro, are my two favorite motorcycle images.

I appreciate the way Mr. Regular worded the reasoning for the Daytona, and others like it, being a bad first bike. Unlike the typical party line of sportbikes being to much performance to handle at first, he instead focuses on the *real* reason they tend to make bad first bikes: they are aimed at going fast, and they…
Because someone made a proof of concept on a motorcycle that had the brake rotor spin in the opposite direction of the wheel. He did it to reduce steering input, sorta like power steering, but for motorcycles; but IIRC it had an additional benefit of improved braking since the swept surface area is increased for a…
Not sure if serious...
Well, electric cars are just full scale Electric RC cars... more or less.
Have you seen the first one? Just as good as the sequel.
It's actually wonderfully practical.
He's not smug or self absorbed. CAD data IS garbage for Video Games.
The older crowd also bought into the xB and it's more... industrial cousin the Honda Element for another reason: They were large Hatchbacks that weren't SUV's.
Those appear to be pre-production. This already shows the idea of splitting the Turbine/Compressor with the MGU-H. At some point after these were sent to be rendered someone probably went: "Hey, if we are already separating the two halves, why not just stick the Compressor at the front of the engine so it doesn't get…
They've had this from the beginning, though the pre-release renders were not as extreme as it is now, they've always had the MGU-H in between the two halves of the turbo:
Aside from the odd casting choices, poor into/outro and the camel race guy, you're correct. The Prince of Persia movie is a decent movie adaptation of the video game of the same name.
Woo! Thanks for recognizing us!
That Weave... There's something awesome about half painted exposed carbon fiber that catches my eye every time.
The reality is, Drone is easier to say than any other word you can use; so that's what's going to be used. While Drone *used* to mean a form of autonomous aircraft, it has since been modified to mean any small? unmanned aircraft. It's a bit unfortunate since the term Drone also brings many negative connotations with…
Since I can't edit, I should add that the Spark Plug method is preferred since it's much easier to hide than a Hammer or a Crowbar would be.
Every tweeker knows this hack. Ever heard of Spark Plugs being stolen from motorcycles? (yes it does happen). This is why.
I like it, but calling it a "superbike" is like calling the Jaguar F-type a Supercar.
