The rewind feature doesn't need to be a "crutch". It's a rather handy tool.

Agreed
Agreed. That's why I think we are still a few years (decade?) off from seeing another jump. We *might* see an intermediate step sometime in the next couple years, But the challenge would be what do you do with the current gen? Do things go the way of the PC where if you want the best graphics you have to get the…
Totally agree. I wasn't coming to Apples defense either; I was more or less expanding on your point. Apple isn't psychic, it's just very good at packaging things in an understandable way. Microsoft comes up with some great ideas and features, but falls down when it comes to making it useable by the masses.
Apple's main focus is stability. They want their products to work for the lowest common denominator. What this translates to (IMO) is delayed release of software features and hardware upgrades until a level of stability is reached. The iPhone 2g was capable of so much more than they put into it. I was able to take…
IMO but the next gen of consoles need to wait until two things happen:
I believe on the Nissan GTR vs Bullet train episode Clarkson said that they try to plan the challenges so they would arrive as close together as possible. Similar to this video: [youtu.be]
Why not:
IMO but the reason they had to do the recent price split is due to increased load without the increase in revenue. I know of several who have at least 8-10 people all on their Netflix streaming account through linked xbox's, etc. Since Netflix is funded by subscriptions and not by ads this poses a problem. Those 7+…
Netflix need to do one thing, and one thing only, to be successful again. It will cause a lot of backlash, but it needs to be done. All they need to do is cap the number of linked devices (Xbox, TV, Phone, Etc) to 3 or 4.
mmm. The VTEC mini is one of the greatest kit cars ever made.
That was indeed, horrible. I could go on an on about just the appearance of their "stig". You would think someone at Gamespot would care enough about racing games to do a proper review...
Is it odd that I knew this was Road Atlanta from just watching the video?
Win! So much win. That clip is why Two Wheels Good.
So long Zune. You can go play with the Creative Zen in the land of off beat tech that was better than Apple but never got the attention it deserved.
Go back and play the muscle car class. The Mercury Cougar Eliminator is a blast to drive around the Swiss track. Fortunately it's not an overly technical track so you can more or less power slide your way around.
That car is beautiful. Agreed.

If ever the versatile Miata was deserving of the top spot, this QOTD is it.
