Wow! Mind officially blown. I'll use this all the time.

Actually, that's exactly what I do. :)
Very cool, but this is the kind of program I want on all my devices, synced. I want it on my iPad so when I think of a grocery item, I can enter it, but then access it via my Windows phone or Android phone when I'm at the store.
I own the Tivo. Just got it to replace my series 3. It's FAST. Also love the ability to control it from anywhere via my iPad. Only thing lacking: They completely removed KidZone, so heads-up.
You may add these if they come, but I'd like to start seeing Windows phone/tablet deals listed too.
What is it you don't like about Gmail? I encourage you to change up the theme, which greatly changes the look, and play around in settings. Between turning things off and turning on some of the lab features, it can become quite different than the "standard" look. Also, use something like Ad Block Plus to get rid of…
I just wish they could fix the performance improvement on an iPad 2. My iPad 2 has slowed down a LOT after the update to 7. Most noticeable is the email fetching, game crashing, and inability to remember the state of an app when switching back-and-forth.
I'm still debating between this and a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I love the 8's dual-screen ability and widgets...but I love how my current iPad just WORKS. Plus, I have a lot of apps. Then again, this is more expensive and doesn't allow for adding memory on-the-fly.
Funny, I use mine all day for work. I use it to take notes in meetings and record them. I use it to scan and create electronic copies of everything, and to read PDFs. I use it to listen to music during the day. I use it as a GPS. I use it as my main Amazon and eBay shopping device—for work and play. I use it as my…
I imagine it's just to keep the price down. But I think it would have been a great new feature to set it apart from other tablets.
The reason I switched to Dvorak was because I was getting carpel tunnel symptoms and light hand cramps when typing for hours each day (I'm a writer). Thinking to the future, I realized this could become a real problem, so I started investigating alternative keyboard layouts.
I've been using the Dvorak layout since about 1993. I taught myself over about a month—just forced myself to use it. Today, I can switch between QWERTY and Dvorak if I need to (though QWERTY's harder for me now) and I LOVE Dvorak.
LOL that's easy for YOU to say...
Yeeps—me neither. Here's hoping Lifehacker will help.
Sigh. I don't know. The help was no help. I hope Lifehacker helps us!
No doubt. I couldn't understand their help at all. :(
I downloaded it on my iPad, but I don't know at all how to set it up and there seem to be no instructions. Will Lifehacker provide a tutorial soon (I hope!)?
Huh. I wonder why I only get the first three sound effect choices when I load it up.
Interested to see the outcome here. I have an iPad 2 and have been seriously considering switching to an iPad Mini—mostly because this is just heavy enough that you notice it. When I've played with an iPad Mini, I enjoy it and it seems to still work great for what I use—email and browsing, Evernote and a game or two.
We just put down wood floors and painted our walls, and now have to install baseboards. They need to be painted though—should we paint them before putting them on or after? Does it matter? Any tips?
