I wish he'd made it so it would display a picture of your choice, or pictures from a folder of your choice while it scans. Then it would be perfect!

I appreciate the loyalty from Xmarks users, but with Firefox sync coming (and really already here), I'll just move to that. No biggie. I prefer Xmarks slightly, but I wouldn't pay for it.

Too bad. I use XMarks and prefer it to other means. But I understand. I just hope the "other means" I haven't used in a while can suffice. :(

@urpwnd: Hmmm...yes, ING seems good, but they don't seem to have the goal-setting or the higher interest rate or rewards. SmartyPig's looking pretty good—in other regards it looks just the same as ING.

I LOVE this idea. I've wanted to have a way to separate funds in different accounts for long term purchases, but haven't seen an easy way. I'll give it a shot.

I've always thought more of our productivity apps should be turned into games. As addicting as online games are, it seems a no-brainer to take those same principles and work them into our regular life.

I think this is interesting, but I just don't see any practical use for it in my day-to-day browser usage. Do people really leave 20 tabs open like that?

I have to admit, I don't really understand this issue. Only on rare occasion would I have more than a handful of tabs open at once.

So will this integrate into Windows Gadgets if you use them, or is this essentially a stand-alone program (I'm thinking the latter)...

I've used a BUNCH of online and offline todo lists, and this is by far my favorite. It's super-simple, but it does the trick.

Ugly duckling? Maybe by today's standards, but at the time, it rocked.

@jetRink: Good point—but this doesn't feel as "seedy" as a payday loan. I'd think for $5, a lot of people would love the 30 day lifeline...still...not necessarily a good idea to get used to. :P

@wagedomain: That's awesome! I'm a newbie runner too. Started last Nov and ran my first 10k in February. Now working to run my first 15k on Labor Day. It's addicting!
