@anonymous: Yeah, I messed around with some about:config stuff, but I'd rather use an extension so when I install on a new machine, it's a one-click process. Thanks for Tabberwocky though—it fits the bill!

@AndroidFan: Ah! Thanks, AF.
Nice—I installed from your link earlier and love it.
When I install it, it gives some kind of warning about being the upgrade to RC2...? But it does work great and the help screen shows it's 3.6.
@Prairie Moon: Thanks for that one PM! It also seems to add a compact Bookmarks bar. Allowed me to get rid of two other extensions!
@torched - White Gold Wielder: Yes, I found this one, but it seems to cover ONLY the changes for this iteration of the RC. I was looking for all changes from 3.5 to 3.6.
@meatbag_pussrocket: Good point. I use FireFox in fullscreen mode, and when not in full screen, I have it limited to one bar at the top total.
@Davrosdiablo: Awesome, thanks Davrosdiablo!
Is there a definitive list of the changes between 3.5 and 3.6? I can only find lists of changes between each beta leading up to 3.6...
Wow! I've just forever changed the way I tie my shoes. Thanks, LifeHacker!
This is a very interesting app. It's a bit strange to get used to it not constantly being on the desktop (it fades between reads), but it's very insightful to see it ONLY when something significant happens. I also like how it shows you exactly which process is using the CPU the most right then...
@JuryDuty: For those wondering, here are my instructions for the best video format for netbooks (looks pretty good on your PC too—and small files!):
A couple things I did to also make mine more enjoyable:
It certainly makes the Wii more attractive. For $200 (or less—was $150 after gift card during Christmas at Walmart), you get a great entertainment system for the kids, plus a Netflix box.
My desktop—for triple monitors, for gaming, for video editing...in fact, I got rid of my laptop for a netbook as I only use an "away desk" for simple operations like word processing and email.
For me, it also helped that Win7 came with both 32-bit and 64-bit discs. This gave me the opportunity to "try it out" when I switched to Win7, knowing I could always go back to 32-bit. Of course, I didn't, after getting that extra gig of RAM to show. :P
@Thomas Wrobel: Super Size Me is FANTASTIC. I've watched it multiple times and still enjoy it. It's informative, fun and has a nice gimmick. And Spurlock's style is very enjoyable.
@johannes.helgason: Excellent! Thank you. It appears both sites have some different documentaries. Thanks to your link I can watch Confessions of a Superhero. Awesome!
Had 32-bit until Win7 came out, then made my PC and laptop both 64-bit, mainly to recognize all 4GB of RAM. Works beautifully!
@rkinne01: Thanks for the heads-up. I should be fine—I have a humongo power supply...but good to know.
