Agreed. Until Ni No Kuni came along, Lost Odyssey was the only JRPG I'd ever finished. Sure, I'd played a few over the years, but something always happened to make me lose interest. Either I got stuck and couldn't proceed (Skies of Arcadia) or the game overstayed its welcome (Star Ocean: The Last Hope...it was right…

One of the main reasons I picked up an Xbox recently. But undortunately, the loading times are epic too. So I stopped playing when I was distracted by a few other games. Reading all the great comments here makes me want to revisit.

If you can find a copy of the full game, I strongly recommend it. It's the only JRPG from this generation that stands up to the greatness of the SNES era in my eyes. A sequel to either Lost Odyssey or Alan Wake would be what ultimately makes me invest in an XBox One.

I agree here. It was really engaging to read about the main character's memories as an immortal. Some sad stuff to be found.

The greatest aspect of Lost Odyssey wasn't even the main storyline, but the various short-story "memories" that you could unlock. These were some of the best-written and most emotional pieces of storytelling I've ever seen in a game.

I believe when Toys R Us was getting out of the PC game business they offered Diablo 3 for $10 in order to clear their stock. I lucked out by getting my local Best Buy to price match, then used a $5 rewards zone code BB sent me to get it for $5.
