Wow, you must not have read my posts. EA apologist? Get out of here. Please at least know what you're talking about before you push the submit button.

The point is that this is part of the product people are supporting. People need to realize that this is a consequence of buying and playing persistent online games. People should get angry about it, but they should get angry about it before they buy it, not after.

I am not advocating it, I'm simply stating the fact that you cannot play without a persistent connection. The merits of that connection are certainly dubious.

Yup, staggered launches are what MMOs have done for a long time, and even they don't alleviate most of the problems. I'm not saying suck it up to players, I am saying that this is a deliberate design and business decision. This is a direct consequence to supporting persistent-online games, be them MMOs or not. Gamers

Oh I'm not saying it is a good enough excuse, simply that they knowingly let it happen. They knowingly over-sell units of their games that they know their servers cannot support concurrently.

Yup, I refuse to buy Diablo 3 for the same reason.

Just so everyone knows, developers KNOW this is going to happen. It happens every time a game launches with an online requirement. Every single MMO that launches encounters these issues. Server lag, crashes and queues that last for 6+ hours. The same thing happened with Diablo 3.

Yeah man, the final reveal of Overlord was very dark and sad. I also like and appreciate that side of ME, but I do think after the original ending fiasco, going out on a really happy note was a great idea.

Yes it does include some great Kasumi content.

Citadel feels like the designers were holding back, staying serious for most of the trilogy, and this is them letting loose with all the jokes and over-the-top content they ever imagined. It really was a great note to end on. They've had so much dark content, to end the trilogy on a comedy is a great design choice.

Yeah man, bringing back a cast of more than a dozen awesome characters is well worth the 15$. I was so surprised how many characters they added content for. It really is great.

This DLC is great. I honestly didn't care about the mission part of it at all, I just enjoyed being able to talk to so many great characters from the trilogy. The biggest surprise for me was how funny this DLC was. Biggest disappointment was that it had to eventually end.

Yeah, to be honest, I found the dialog to be great, but the story and narrative to be mediocre. As I said, it seems pretty predictable and linear. Despite all the choices being made, there is not a lot of consequence or reactivity. My biggest problem is the narrative is too heavy handed and just forces your group to

I don't know any history, but I remember making sense of a scene, where two people made a pact, and they both cut their palms then shook hands. It seems like a good way to contract a disease or something, but I think the idea was it was a pact sealed with the blood of both participants. At best, it is purely symbolic.

To be fair, visual quality really does have an impact on cinematic design. Of course better visuals will not make better characters, but a more sophisticated set of tools for cinematic design will (hopefully) help game devs like Bioware handle some of their more intimate scenes get over their uncanny valley problems.

I haven't in the past few days. Disappointing :(

Yup, the Agent story is undeniably the best of the bunch (trooper is the only one I haven't played). I can confidently say the Agent story is one of the best roleplaying experiences I've ever had, regardless of format or genre.

So I am in episode 2 of the first game and I find this game very boring and predictable. It seems like a bunch of zombie cliches. The whole "point" of the game is that the narrative keeps backing a group of incompetent survivors into shitty situations. After a lifetime of playing zombie games, zombies are not a threat

Sad that you didn't enjoy yourself. The JK, SW and IA are all excellent class stories that are better than many single-player RPGs. Hope you get to have the awesome roleplaying experiences I have had. Good luck with that!

I absolutely want KOTOR 1 and 2 remade with new visual assets. But if you want KOTOR 3, you should play the Jedi Knight storyline in SWTOR. It is the real deal.
