Oh well, if you feel content to restrict yourself behind artificial limitations, that is your choice and your loss. Feel free to not enjoy good stuff for dumb reasons.

It really doesn't. The point is that making these choices are meaningful without having the possibility of being referenced later. The referencing shouldn't be more important than the choice, the story or the characters itself. The referencing is just an added bonus, its not the main point of the game or the

You're talking to a person who builds gaming PCs. I am not just a member of the master race, I'm the president.

Right, well move on then. The Mass Effect series is clearly no longer for you. Feel free to never talk about it again.

Sure, core is outnumbered by casual, absolutely. But, core has already gotten as far as it has because the free market supported that content. The problem is AAA devs/publishers/shareholders trying to sell their AAA game to the number of people who play Farmville/Angry Birds.

Yeah, this is how I feel too. Even if/when tablets do have the processing power of a console/PC, they will still have very limited interface options. My guess is, if there is enough of a demand for a dedicated gaming tablet, it will have to include real buttons on the side/frame of the device. I can't imagine ever

So sick of hearing about tablets. If tablets ever want my core gaming money, they better get real serious about GPU and interface. Because until then, they aren't anywhere on my core gaming radar.

Now thats what I'm talkin about.

I have to say, I do think gaming is a bit healthier than alcohol or other more destructive habits. If someone binges in SWTOR or Minecraft or something, they have wasted some time and gained some pounds, but nothing more than time is lost.

Sigh. I see this argument all the time. I don't mean to be dismissive of your perspective, but I think it is a bit unreasonable. Look, Mass Effect absolutely has been advertised as a trilogy with the ability to make and import your choices throughout the trilogy. I know, many people, myself included, feel that is one

Sure. You are totally entitled to not like the game. I don't have a problem with anyone not liking the game. I do take issue with the people who are basically disappointed and vindictive (ex)fans who feel the need to lash out at every Bioware trailer, announcement or bit of news.

Yeah, to be fair, I did post pre-hate, in anticipation for it. You need only look at the Omega trailer's youtube comments to see the haters. Also, it is still very common on the bioware forums. I would love to be proven wrong though, for a ME post on Kotaku not to be inundated by haters complaining about the ending.

blurg double post

Incoming haters. Expect people to blubber about how much they don't care about or value the ME series.

Is there something like this for the USA? I know that people bring their rigs to Quakecon, but anything other than that?

Yeah, Lost Odyssey is an incredible game. I love it and I hope he makes a sequel, or another game like it.
