Wow, that is adorable, it is clearly trying to figure that dog out.

Don't thank me, thank the hundreds of professionals with business and marketing degrees. Also, stereotyping is probably not the right word. When millions of people in a demographic consistently and repeatedly buy something, that is not a stereotype.

You can absolutely still do double stealth kills, but in open combat, Connor has the wristblade on his right hand, and the switch blade in his left. It is a stylistic departure from Ezio, but it doesn't make much difference in gameplay, other than different animations.

Angry dudes, because 13-35 year old white men are still the most important demographic in the game industry :|

Beautiful artwork. I love the way the hidden blade switches out, the animation for that in-game looks great too.

Hey Kirk, while returning to New Vegas, I know there is a lot to do and get distracted by, especially when using mods, but I would strongly urge you do one thing while spending time in NV. Visit all of the vaults. I know that sounds predictable for a Fallout game, but the vaults in NV are the best in the series. I

Yeah, that is fair, people rent games and don't finish them in their rental period. Ok, but 50% is still a huge number and games sell millions of copies in their first month. This isn't just about rentals, while I'm sure it contributes, it is about people's gaming behavior, and clearly, people are content to spend

Yeah, and to be fair. I don't read reviews to make purchasing decisions, I read reviews to reflect on games I've already played. I also don't understand who these customers are making purchasing decisions based on other people's limited experiences.

Yeah, there are lots of reasons to complain about game reviews. I would say, the thing that bugs me the most is that it seems like everyone in the industry, customers, devs, and reviewers are all totally content and satisfied with critics not finishing or thoroughly playing games before casting their criticisms.

Yes, finally we get to return to Solstheim. I love the Morrowind art style, the big mushrooms made my heart jump.

Well, I like Arkane and I don't particularly like the giant, faceless corp Ubisoft, so I am not trying to make a case for the companies, but the merits of the games themselves. I've played all the big games, and many of the small games of 2012, and I think AC3 is clearly one of the best. Obviously "the best" is going

I think the better statement would be "Gamers, don't bother" since Win8 has done basically nothing to improve gaming performance over Win7. Aside from the issues of a closed platform, the fact is, there is no reason for gamers to buy or use Win8.

So I finished AC3 and I think I see a problem with game journalism and reviews. AC3 is a phenomenal game, in terms of both gameplay and narrative. Yet, we see journos and critics giving it 7s and 8s, which aren't bad, but aren't accurate for a great game. Then we see smaller studios like Arkane make Dishonored,

You are absolutely right about this! This is something I have been saying and seeing for a long time, and also, actively participating in. MMO players seem to behave like tourists. I have realized that the best time of most MMOs is during their first month of activity, rarely do most MMOs ever see their populations

That is definitely not the amount of content available at launch, or the month following launch. I pretty much watched the game die around me in the first 30-60 days. All we had were 3 warzones, 1 working operation, and Ilum was very broken and dumb.

SWTOR has so much great content and was one of the best attempts at an MMO, but they still failed to have adequate end-game content. I don't know why anyone making an MMO would make this mistake. Clearly, they needed more time to make more content. The content they did have was quite good though.

This is huge imo. Not because of the money or the sales, but because of the trend. It means there is something else many millions of people want to do other than shitty oversaturated modern shooters.

Interesting, both RDR and MCLA are Rockstar San Diego games. Maybe it is a coincidence, or maybe they aren't equipped with the resources for making PC versions.

PC release will probably be a few months later. I doubt they are skipping PC entirely, though they did that for RDR and they missed millions of sales. But RDR is the only recent Rockstar game that isn't on PC, so hopefully it is the exception and not the new norm.

Right, I keep seeing that because they are earning a living that they are exempt from responsibility for working for a company that steals and clones. Who do you think is stealing and cloning, just Pincus? No, the hundreds of employees are the thieves and cloners. They get no sympathy.
