Fantastic. I was worried about BI because of the delay, but this looks to be coming along quite well.

How is owning a castle in a fantasy game a gimmick? This is something I have been asking for since DAO.

Looks like they are on the right track for DA3. Customization was really lacking in DA2, so I am happy to see they are placing more emphasis on it. The much larger areas to explore sound great too.

I don't think it has been officially confirmed, but it has been discussed, http://www.gamezone.com/products/assassin-s-creed-iii/news/assassin-s-creed-3-has-a-lot-more-desmond-than-past-titles-but-is-it-the-end-for-him

So this is a good place to talk about AC3. I am personally expecting AC3 to be the 2012 GOTY. If Ubisoft can deliver an epic conclusion to Desmond's story and nail the revolutionary war setting, then I can't see how this won't be the best game of the year.

Microtransactions aren't inherently evil, it is all about the way they are used and implemented. Also, comparing facebook games to MMOs is nonsense when you consider how radically different they are in both design and in target demographics.

Yeah, this is what the medium is supposed to be. Forget making thought-provoking art, lets get millions of people addicted to microtransactions.

Yeah, obviously the Assassin's Creed series is not very historically accurate, but I think it is the only AAA open world game with semi-authentic recreations of historical periods like the Crusades, the Renaissance and of course, the American Revolution.

My understanding is no, you don't need to buy the base game. The base game is free to download and play, but all of the listed perks are included depending on how much you pay.

The point is that you can play and enjoy the base game for free, and once you have decided you like the game and want to play it more, then you start paying.

This actually isn't bad. I was afraid they were going to completely monetize every bit about SWTOR and make it grindy, but it looks like they are limiting some game modes and making travelling a bit more time consuming, but not really changing the quests. Which is good, because my main reason for wanting to keep

You should probably use your brain a bit more before pressing the submit button. Your post is such convoluted bullshit that it is not worth correcting, just know that you are wrong and you should feel bad.

So does anyone else just want this game? Stop doing whatever you are doing Bioware and make this a real thing.

Are the big physical retailers making any efforts to suppress console games launching digitally on Xbox Live or PSN?

Whats the deal with Xbox refusing or refraining from launching games digitally on their Xbox Live service? This is something that all PC games have been doing for years, and the PS3 has been doing on the PSN for the past 6 months. Is Xbox unable or simply unwilling to provide this service?
