I'm happy to see Nvidia bringing power and competitive prices back to the market. The GTX 400 series really was an expensive flop, but the 500 and 600 series have been great for the consumer.

Yeah, the monk animations are relatively bland compared to some other classes, like Barb. But if you really want a visually coherent experience, the monk's fist weapons are what the monk animations were designed for. My guess is they might not get new weapon animations in for a while, probably after PVP.
Yeah, the monk has no weapon animations. It is something Blizzard said they had to cut in order to spend resources on other more important features, but that they intend to add more weapon animations for all classes in the future.
A good opportunity to discuss the Xbox Live marketplace. My biggest concern for the next generation Xbox is being backwards compatible. I've already bought a few games on XBL Games on Demand and Arcade and if they are not compatible with the future console, then I probably won't be buying it. If digital games are only…
Wow, China in the top 5. Who is voting, North Korea and Myanmar?
To be clear, I completely agree and this is why I cancelled my CE of Diablo 3. I just expected people to sort of roll over and take it though, so I am happy to see the resistance to persistent online DRM.
Hmm, I am surprised to see Blizzard fans so vindictive. I thought they would be a bit more grateful and patient than most. Maybe that was naive of me to think.
Survival horror with the ability to make choices and change the story arc based on your ability to play the game well. Rather than have overt choices with text trees or wheels, the choices and world should respond to the player's competence and in-game actions. If the player succeeds, the world should reflect that…
A lot of skepticism but I will say, as far as I know, Matt Stone and Trey Parker have never worked on any of the previous South Park games and have never worked on any THQ games. I think Matt and Trey are talented enough to carry two curses and write a hilarious game.
Hopefully Matt and Trey are really committed to this project because I fear for its future.
So this is the future of persistent online DRM. Just design your DRM into the game mechanics and economy and then hide behind the claim that "its supposed to be an online experience."
Not only should there be a direct sequel to Majora's Mask, but the sequel should take no longer than 1 year to produce.
Yes, speaking with my wallet is important to me. I know I would enjoy the game itself and I really have no problem with the developers. My problem is with how the company thinks it is acceptable to behave. I will not support that. As for investments or stocks, no way in hell buddy.
The progress of the game industry is way more important than individuals. If individuals are willing to participate in shitty business practices so they can support themselves, they share in the blame and responsibility of shitty business practices.
That is what I mean, despite keeping the name Activision, Vivendi bought Activision and the money is going to the same shareholders. Will not support.

I caved and chose not to play D3. I spent 2000-2003 playing D2 and loving it. But I just can't bring myself to give Activision a penny.
I'm sure this is a good game, but I'm also sure it is not a perfect 100. It drives me nuts that people actually get paychecks for giving games 100s or perfect scores. Its just at the point where every big budget game gets perfect scores. Its not even about the games any more, I could probably do the math and determine…
I hope Activision loses everything to West and Zampella. I don't just mean back payments, I want new information to come out that strips Activision of the COD property. I know that is probably not even legally possible, but Activision needs to die a quick and excruciating death.
This is the single best thing Activision has done in 5 years. Good job Vivendi.
