gotta agree. i didn't really like what was being shown in this video. obviously i won't be making my first purchase based off of any of this but i do feel the XB1 has the upperhand in this area.

I'm getting both systems and I fully accept ps4 has a power advantage, but any who thinks this is compelling compared to what XO is doing is kidding themselves.

Games consoles are multimedia devices. They have functionalities beyond playing games, some of which are game-related (friends, trophies, etc), some of which are not (video streaming). It's not unreasonable to expect people to be curious as to how that will look and feel on the new console.

Not a fanboy - heck, I love PlayStation - but Xbone has a better, cleaner UI. Objectively.
