Can we stop comparing the Corvette to the "Europeans" just because its an American car? I doubt German/French/British carmakers are out comparing their cars to the Vette just because theirs are German/French/British. The Corvette is simply a good sports car period and that's all that needs to be said.

I think the point a lot of people are missing here is that mowing someone down in your car is technically attempted murder, and generally considered to be bad idea unless you like being in jail.
