The last thing I would call Dark Souls is ‘outdated.’ the game has a mysteriousness and atmosphere that permeates every bit of it, which is exactly where games like Nioh miss the mark. I’d take Dark Souls over Nioh and it’s other copycats any day.

Tbh, and this is just me, I will take a creative art direction such as Breath of the Wild, Dark Souls and The Last Guardian over ‘hyper realism’ like Horizon any day.

Brawlhalla was awesome, looking forward to it coming out on PS4. I think the field is wide open for this sort of game since Smash doesnt really come all that often, usually once a Nintendo generation. So there is plenty of opportunity for another game to take its place in between releases.

I think the problems with PS All Stars had to do with the mechanics more than the characters. But also, PS All Stars didnt take full advantage of its opportunity. It wasnt really a mascot fighter so much as a marketing tool for soon-to-release or just released games

I agree with your general point. Black wrestlers, as stated by the article, have been historically neglected and typically are characters driven by their race in some way. Very few have made it to main event status, though there are plenty who are deserving.

The attack and defend buttons being opposite one another is pretty ridiculous too. Complete controller customization needs to be a thing.

Youget a lot of value for your money, for one, and it’s in JRPGs where storytelling in gaming really flourishes. Games like Persona and Trails in the Sky/Cold Steel are incredible for their stories

There are already plenty of games to more than justify the purchase of a PSVR. The launch line up is at least as good as the PS4's was. It’s kinda crazy to me people would pay just to demo it but not pay to play it at home whenever you want. But more power to you I suppose!
