@Arken: True. I was confused a bit, because I had read an October interview where the director was talking about how things would be scored, and how he wasn't planning on cameo appearances by members of the original cast, etc. I assumed the prequel wasn't far enough along for screenings.

Any word as to why the prequel won't be ready? If the decision was made in editing (meaning the original footage was too shoddy to be reworked in a theatre-worthy movie) it may go straight to DVD.
