I think it is completely cultural. I live in the US and up until my daughter was 4 or so she would eat green vegetables as a treat. Like, it was mid-afternoon and she would request a bowl of broccoli for snack. It wasn't something I taught her but I sure as heck wasn't complaining.

If this rumor about back-to-back shooting is true then I doubt it. I think the chances of switching directors technically halfway through a shoot is pretty slim.

I would argue that those things exist because of the puritanical history of the US. Would we care so much if something were scintillating otherwise? Would anyone pay attention to a sexy music video or tv show if there wasn't someone that thought it was too sexy?
