"Yeah right, so you are telling me that if they remove a framerate cap, the game will shoot up to render in 60fps"
Of course not. Because they didn't bother to optimise for a higher frame rate. Because they decided to lock it down to 30 early on. And because they did that they now have the capacity to make things extra

I think you are misinterpreting something in the article. Its not that they can't get 60fps (which should be obvious that the ps4 can handle it considering the amount of articles on the subject lately), but its rather they choose not to bother with it. 30fps was a conscious design choice, not a forced limitation.

When i visited Japan, the only annoying thing for me was how i couldn't buy a sim card for my phone. Apparently there is a service where you can buy a portable hotspot for wifi, but you could only get it at the airport or before you enter Japan (they'll mail it to you). Other than that, Japan was probably one of the

Its cute an all, which would make it an especially horrific accident scene

Or rather when you are pretending to sleep

"We're definitely NOT going evil" is exactly what an evil person would say.
Basically, what he's saying is they're just doing what they think is right and its up to us to decide if they're evil or not. Its most anyone can really expect from anyone.

So like Blade of the Immortal but in modern times then?

Fine, if you think his game is crap. I won't argue with you there. But if you think that way, then don't download it. And if you don't download it, how does it affect your life?

basically, this guy made an (arguably) difficult game using an unoriginal game mechanic, using supposedly "stolen" art and made a load of cash. But what makes this case so special that attracts so much hate?

Funny story. Back in highschool, when VII was released, my best friend and I sat down and started planning our own jrpg. Over the years we filled almost 5 thick notebooks with concept art, character designs, storyboards and game mechanics descriptions. Then XII was released and it was almost identical to the game we

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think pulling a game from itunes automatically means it is removed from the iAD program (or admob or whatever ad system he's using). So in theory, he could still be making shit loads of cash off of the existing users.

"ethical, creative app designers" wouldn't be to complaining about something like this. They'd just be, you know, ethically making their games rather than trying to bring someone else's game down.

well, as for the "sleuthing", the google play store listing for this same game says its made by this Mateen Pekan character. so i guess thats confirmed.

literally last night, i was out with my friends when one of them whips out flappy bird to show me. Then my other friend's wife goes "Oh, is that Mario?".

i feel your pain brother. I have a game on the app store that i worked on for 3 years (on and off, while juggling a full time day job) and its made like $80. Sadly, apple only pays out if you reach $150 or more or something like that. Exact same situation: all dev, no marketing. Still, i'm not giving up and i'm

Well, technically, bravely default's 4 hour demo of a 110 hour full game would make the demo about 3.6% of the game. GZ's 2 hours to mgsv's 10 hours (VERY gross estimation based on previous games) would make it 20% of the main game. Also, bravely default is a jrpg. To make it 110 hours long the devs could just script

I've no idea what the **** he's even on about with his "love hope and the human condition" statement. I've never even heard any of that ever said about the game even by the most ardent fans.

fries, nuggets, chicken skins, whatever you can get hold of!

Am i the only one that has been doing this all along? Alternatively, if the burger is too big and i can't get my pinkies underneath, i just hold them perpendicular to all the other fingers and use them to hold the patty in place. Kinda like a bookend.
