For everyone on the nozzle size, yes, we understand. I think what you don't understand is we're talking about jerkoffs who wouldn't think twice about spilling $100 worth of diesel all over the ground in order to pull a prank.

The police are not supposed to be armed with tanks and machine guns. There's not an armed insurgency inside the United States and I have never, EVER, heard of a police armored vehicle being used for its intended use. Maybe that ONE time in LA when those bank robbers thought they were on the set of Heat. That's

So you're basically telling me there's MORE than 700 vehicles (racers, support, etc) involved with this race? Jeezus...I am going to be paying attention to this now.

What's the purpose behind this? Is LeHarve just a convenient meeting point for cargo? Why doesn't each team just ship straight to Argentina? I suppose I can see it being convenient to bring them all in at once...but doesn't this just transfer the original issue of getting together all at once to France?

Man I wish Breras were available in the US...

I don't see a whole lot of private ownership of driverless cars, honestly. It's just too cheap to rent. I think cars that you can drive in the future are going to be your Ferraris, your McLarens, BMWs...driver's cars. As in, people who are actually going to buy a car are going to buy really expensive cars for the

If you stroll on over to Zipcar's web site, you'll find a claim about each Zipcar removing 10-12 normal cars from the road. This being because instead of buying a car, Zipcar subscribers can just grab one any time they like. Certainly it's not the same service as owning your own, but it's approaching comparability.

Which is now getting really close to just about all of them.

I'm pretty sure most folks assume that self-driving cars will do exactly the opposite of what you fear. It's going to provide mobility to a lot of people that can, right now, neither drive nor afford a car of their own. They'll go wherever you want them to. These aren't buses with set routes.

Peugot was 7 seconds off the win at the 2011 - 24 Hours of Le Mans. Don't knock. ;-)

Hell...I've been looking at Cunard for a trans-atlantic because they've got a freaking "kennel master" on board. And the inside stateroom wasn't really much more than a plane ticket. It just takes seven days...which is really only 4 days longer than flying.

You're completely wrong in your reasoning about the dog thing. The reason for this is that American Airlines, United Airlines...all the other airlines...will play russian roulette with your dog if you want to fly them somewhere. The major airlines kill pets all the time through criminal neglect.

Wow, thanks for posting that...but that's not complicated, that's fucking brilliant. Mechanically driven fuel pumps to boot. Brilliant.

Does this arrangement eliminate the need for valves?

That is criminal.

I don't want police to be "intimidating". They're supposed to be helpful, not bullies.

RHD for the UK?

It's really awesome to see that people with balls still exist. Good for you.

Dealers don't sell the same product. Their deal with legislatures grants them local monopoly on the product they do sell.
