Admitting to knowing someone committed a crime and not doing anything about it is accessory.

I’d argue it’s entirely Sega’s “fault” for blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Yes, drug culture is a bigger deal in Japan, but if they stood up against it, they could have started a trend of lessening that stigma.
