I live in NYC and was recently having a conversation with some friends about how hard it is to stand up to people when they make sexiest jokes. I was all like, "I have no problem with that." But there seemed to be a general consensus that they all hated doing that- both men and women. Really pissed me off. Nothing

they're not mutually exclusive. I will only date men who call themselves feminists and I'm also (to an annoying degree) attracted to a man with certain traditionally masculine trains. Bring on all the feminist lumberjacks!

Also, the whole speaking out in front of other men- makes my underwear drop to the floor.

I agree too. I won't date a man who doesn't identify himself as a feminist. If you don't (in my mind and you're free to disagree) you're either ignorant or anti-women and I wouldn't date someone who was either of those things.

This is so much fun!

If I had a penis, I think I'd want to sword fight with it. TBH.

That was my first thought too. But I also have to wonder, what if the situation was reversed and it was a young girl, who identified as a boy, and he wanted to use the boy's room. Yes, there are stalls in boy's bathrooms, but there are also urinals. Would people be more concerned about that situation? Granted, at the

Between this and the Jason Segal talk last night, I want a Jezebel convo just about celebrity stories we know from experience (or friends).

That blog post isn't that bad at all. So a single man had a one night stand with a single, consenting woman? CALL THE POLICE! HE MUST BE THE WORST! I'm not saying he's not an asshole, I don't know him, but this story doesn't suggest he did anything wrong. Name any male celebrity and you could have the same story.

same problem. tuesday it wouldn't let me sign in on jezebel. my gawker account was working fine, but it kept being buggy when i'd try and comment on jezebel.

I think you can spoil a show if it's already aired. The Jezebel article came out like 18 hours after it aired in the US. Also, people are way too sensitive about spoilers. It's a TV show.

I'm also a bit of an asshole about spoilers. I don't go out of my way to spoil things for others, but I'm not going to stop what I'm talking about because one person in the group hasn't see it yet (makes me even madder if it's because they don't even watch the show, but might want to watch it someday). It's probably

Really? I think people have a larger superiority complex if they think the world should wait on them and not spoil anything. People illegally download. People in the entertainment industry illegally download. If that's the worst thing I do, I think I'll be able to sleep at night.

Everyone else who has access to the internet*.

Smart was a poor word to use. But you can't complain about spoilers for something that's been out for months. If you want to watch the show early, you easily can. If you want to watch the show in a different fashion, fine. But the world's not going to wait for you to catch up.

The show aired in the US last night. Everyone else who is smart enough to stream this while it was airing in England saw it months ago. It wasn't exactly a secret.

Thanks! Another runner I know sent me a training plan. It's a 12 week one and the race is 13 away.

I've been running since about July, on and off. Trying to use this to get more regular with my running. Mine is in May too. Are you doing the Brooklyn half, by chance?

I second running. It's free and can be relaxing, once you get into it. I recommend signing up for a race. It helps motivate you bc then you have to train. I did that with a 4 mile race a few months ago (and rewarded myself with a big drunk brunch with a bunch of friends after I finished) and now I just signed up for a
