This is just it - Renault had the right basic idea, but based it on the wrong version of family car. The generation that grew up in Explorers and Grand Cherokees and such hasn’t rejected those, but have welcomed the sleeker, coupe version of *their* parents’ cars.

The Avantime is one those great cars that deserved better but nobody understood. It shares this honor with cars like the Audi A2, the Toyota iQ or the Chrysler Airflow.

I’ll go with Volvo V90. Sure, it is cross country only but that doesn’t bother me at all. I love the car; its handsome, drives well, and has tons of cargo space. I want to go electric for my next car this makes that choice challenging
